IELTS Listening – Course Description This course is designed to help candidates develop the essential listening skills needed to succeed in the IELTS Listening test. The course focuses on understanding spoken English in different accents, improving note-taking abilities, and recognizing key information in conversations and monologues. Learners will practice listening for specific details, main ideas, and logical connections through a variety of real-world recordings. Through interactive exercises, practice tests, and effective strategies, students will enhance their ability to follow conversations, lectures, and discussions while managing their time efficiently. Test Format The IELTS Listening test consists of four sections with a total of 40 questions to be completed in 30 minutes, plus 10 minutes to transfer answers: Section 1: A conversation between two people in a social or everyday context (e.g., booking a hotel room). Section 2: A monologue providing factual information (e.g., a speech about a city tour). Section 3: A conversation between multiple speakers in an academic or training setting (e.g., a university discussion). Section 4: A monologue on an academic subject (e.g., a university lecture). Question types include multiple-choice, form completion, sentence completion, matching, labeling diagrams, and short-answer questions.
