IELTS General Training Writing – Course Description This course is designed to help candidates develop the essential writing skills required for the IELTS General Training (GT) Writing test. It focuses on clarity, structure, grammar, and vocabulary to effectively communicate ideas in everyday and workplace-related writing. Through guided lessons, practice exercises, and feedback, students will learn to produce well-organized and coherent written responses. Test Format The IELTS General Training Writing test consists of two tasks, to be completed in 60 minutes: 1. Task 1 (150 words, 20 minutes): Candidates write a formal, semi-formal, or informal letter in response to a given situation (e.g., requesting information, making a complaint, or writing to a friend). 2. Task 2 (250 words, 40 minutes): Candidates write an essay expressing their opinion on a general topic, presenting arguments and supporting ideas in a clear and structured manner. The course covers effective letter-writing strategies, organizing essays, developing ideas logically, and improving grammatical accuracy.
